Meet JU DY
BA LLI NGER
Artist SHE’S CALLED SIMPSON HOUSE HOME SINCE 2021
From suburban Washington, DC, to Wisconsin, to a mud hut in Ethiopia, Judy Ballinger has
lived in a lot of places. She served in the Peace Corps and taught in Sudan. In Cape May, NJ,
she established a kids’ art camp, and she still has pieces in an art gallery in Reading, PA.

At Simpson House, she paints on silk and offers workshops in different media in the
community’s art room she helped set up. Judy continues doing what she loves and says
she has learned to “find good in the path you are on, or find a new path.”
Call us today 215-918-4752, or visit SimpsonHouse.org/TG-JB to see for yourself why
Judy and so many other artistic people choose Simpson House for retirement living.
