T The 135-year-old Jewish Exponent ( JE) changed ownership in March of 2022
to Mid-Atlantic Media (MAM). While there have been some adjustments,
we’re doing our best to provide compelling, award-winning content to the Greater
Philadelphia Jewish community. We’re excited to add JE to our MAM group of Jewish
publications that now includes Baltimore Jewish Times and Washington Jewish Week.
Together, the three publications can take advantage of terrific resources to make them
stronger and better.
Over the last six months, you may have noticed our focus on digital content
delivery and a print product with more features and personality profiles. The feedback
has been positive with increased audiences. JE delivers its award-winning content in
print, on its website and digital magazine, by email newsletter, and on multiple social
media platforms. If you’re reading this message, and you’re not currently engaged with
our JE content, we encourage you to give it a try. JE has many options to engage with
its award-winning local Jewish content. If you have story ideas, people in the Jewish
community you feel should be featured, life cycle announcements and even letters to
the editor, please submit to editor@jewishexponent.com. It may get published!
As the new publisher of JE, this is MAM’s first opportunity to produce JE’s Guide
to Jewish Life. This annual directory remains the best resource handbook for all
things Jewish in Greater Philadelphia. Keep the print edition in that special place at
home, but also know that it can be accessed digitally on our website using our digital
magazine navigation button.
Enjoy JE, the Guide, and we wish everyone a healthy and 2022-‘23!
Sincerely, 410-902-2308
