Located in northwest Baltimore, the
Edward A. Myerberg Center provides
over 150 enriching programs each year
for adults ages 55 plus, including classes
in the arts, humanities and fitness. The
Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation
Fitness Center is the premier fitness
center serving adults. All of our trainers
are senior fitness specialists. The center’s
Eating Together program is the largest
in Baltimore city and serves 7,000 meals
each year to seniors.

A community “village” program dedicated
to helping seniors age comfortably in their
homes through a neighbor-helping-neigh-
bor mutual support system. NNC provides
rides to appointments, computer assistance
and general household help. Members are
expected to give, as well as receive, volun-
teer services. The program also offers
opportunities to join a committee and
attend social events.

The Supportive Community Network
(SCN) is a support system for commu-
nities that want to build a village model
to help seniors age in place. We assist
communities to develop the skills, systems,
