Engaging Jewish, faith-based and secular
organizations and families, Pearlstone
serves all ages and backgrounds through-
out Baltimore, the Chesapeake region and
beyond. Located in the Maryland coun-
tryside, Pearlstone hosts conferences and
meetings, overnight retreats and special
events, and features overnight accommo-
dations, varied meeting spaces, farm-to-
table cuisine, rustic wooded trails, and an
organic farm.

caust Remembrance Commission (HRC)
is dedicated to honoring the memory
of the millions who perished during the
Nazi era through commemoration and
education. The HRC presents the annual
Kristallnacht and Yom HaShoah com-
munity-wide commemorations. It offers a
variety of programs and resources for ed-
ucators, students, religious and civic orga-
nizations. Resources include the Speakers
Bureau, which brings firsthand Holocaust
testimony to schools, churches, and other
groups; teacher-training workshops on
the Holocaust — one-day sessions held
throughout the academic year and the
three-day Summer Teacher Institute; the
high school interfaith program, Lessons of
the Shoah; and the Baltimore Holocaust
Survivors and Descendants group, which
works to perpetuate the memory of the
Holocaust. HRC resources and programs
are offered at no charge.
