BURNS-GREENBERG BERMAN
Sandra Berman passed away on Friday, Au-
gust 23, 2019 at the age of 86 in Fort Lauder-
dale. Sandra was born on September 27,
1932 to Maurice and Nan Giller in Passaic
NJ. The Family lived in Bradley Beach NJ. The
sand and sea were a stone’s throw away. She
never could get the sand out of her shoes.

Sandra leaves behind her beloved children:
Peter, Richard and Dana and wonderful
Grandchildren: Barbara, Michael, Jodi,
Jordan, Daniel and Alex and also 2 Great
Grandchildren: Liam and Miles. We want to
say a prayer for Sandra’s son David Berman
who passed away June of 2015. Sandra was
a force to be reckoned with in the Phil-
adelphia Travel Industry. She helped open the
doors as one of the largest travel whole-
salers to Israel. She took the first 72 Jews to
Egypt within days after the borders opened
up. Sandra also specialized in the charter in-
dustry to the Caribbean. Her success was
knowing a smile went a long way. As time
went on Sandra ran her husband’s office to
help make his life easier. Other then travel
and her family and friends Sandra did enjoy
going to the casinos. It has been a tough year
and a half since her husband Howard passed
away. They will now be back together I’m
sure having the first dance of the day. They
both enjoyed to dance. This obviously is a
snapshot in the life and times of Sandra Ber-
man. There is a lot of stories and soundbites
but for this day we will keep it simple be-
cause that is what she would want. Sandra
will be greatly missed by family and friends.
