Lillian Krasney (nee Shiman), died on
September 3, 2018, at age 97. Beloved wife
of the late Myron “Mike” Krasney, mother of
Rina (Andrew Roth) Krasney and Steven
(Marlene Ryan) Krasney. Dear aunt, cousin
and friend. An honor student at Girls High
and business college, she had a long career
as a full-charge bookkeeper. An avid reader,
lifelong learner, lover of music, art and
theatre, she was also a tireless advocate for
civil and women’s rights and envisioned a
more just and humane world for all of us.

Sonia Laskin (nee Bradlyn) passed away
peacefully on Sunday September 16, 2018
with her family by her side. She was 93 years
old. Born October 26, 1924 in Youngstown,
OH, she was the daughter of the late David
and Della (nee Magidson) Bradlyn, and the
beloved wife of the late Sam L. Laskin, with
whom she shared 70 years of marriage. So-
nia was the loving mother of Dr. William
Laskin and Cathy Lyons (Russell Lyons) and
was a devoted and loving grandmother and
great grandmother. Services were held on
Monday September 18, at Tiferet Bet Israel
Cemetery in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

2018. Beloved wife of the late Edward Moses;

adoring great-grandmother “GG Rose” of
Hayden and Emma Chaitt. Also survived by

nephews. Born in her beloved “South Philly,”
she eventually settled in Jenkintown. An avid
reader and cook, she loved making her deli-
cious briskets and famous sweet potatoes for
the extended family and friends who gathered
at her son’s house for holiday celebrations.
Her family was her world, and she will be
sadly missed by everyone. Services and In-

1. 2018 at his home in Walnut Creek, CA. He
was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He
and his wife Judith (Weiss) moved to Califor-
