She spent the last 25 years of her life working in commercial banking. Most recently she par- ticipated in a clinical trial as patient zero at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, investigating the use of immune therapies in a search for a cure for Metastatic Breast Cancer. Her feel- ing was if it didn’t save her life, it was a small price to pay if in the end it saved the life of another. After graduating Penn, she married Joseph Breskman who had just returned from serving in the Pacific Rim at the end of WWII. They promptly married and started a family. Mrs. Breskman had many avid interests throughout her life. She loved the art world as both an artist and a collector. She sculpted and made life size statues and was passionate about art and art history. She played tennis and was a regular on the court well into her 60s. She had a zeal for learning and with her extroverted personality be- friended many. Mrs. Breskman studied astro- logy, mysticism, the kabbalah and Reiki. An open-minded spirit, she was accepting of all cultures and had a fascination with all things spiritual. Both she and her husband traveled the world. They raised their family in Villan- ova, PA and spent 20+ years in Palm Beach, Florida in their twilight. Mrs. Breskman was a resident of The Quadrangle in Haverford, PA for the past 6 years of her life. Galowitz, 74, of Harrisburg, formally from Philadephia passed away on Sunday, August 19, with his loving wife of 36 years at his side. Dr. Galowitz was born in Newark, New Jersey on August 29, 1943, the son of Herbert and Regina Galowitz. He atten- ded Abraham Lincoln High School before en- rolling at Pennsylvania State University in 1961. He graduated with a B.S. in secondary education in 1965. He also attended Trenton State College, where he received his master's in Guidance in 1972, and Temple University, where he earned his doctorate in 1985.Dr. Galowitz dedicated his life to educating and caring for young people. He began his work in this field while still an undergraduate, as the director of a YMCA camp. After six years in the military, with the highest rank of cap- tain, serving his country in Georgia, Vietnam and Fort Dix, New Jersey, Dr. Galowitz began teaching seventh and eighth grade social studies in Cherry Hill, NJ., while in the army reserves. He eventually arrived in Susque- hanna Township High School where he was assistant principal and then principal of the school. He retired in 2002. Dr. Galowitz is predeceased by his mother, father and broth- er Steven. GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL-SACKS GINSBERG Cantor Elihu Ginsberg, age 91, of Voorhees, NJ, formerly of Plymouth Meeting, PA, passed away on September 4, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Elihu was a veteran of the US Army Corps of Engineers and was stationed in the Philippines during WWII. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from CCNY and was an engineer with RCA, GE, Burroughs and Unisys where he retired in 1988. Eli’s passion for music began when he was in the Army when he would play the piano for the USO and Red Cross, and he later sang in barbershop quartets and various choral groups. Cantor Ginsberg studied voice at Temple University and Jewish liturgy and cantorial studies at Gratz College. He began his professional career as a part-time cantor in 1976 at Tiferes B’nai Israel in Warrington, PA, and after retiring from his engineering career, he became the full-time cantor at Suburban JCC B’Nai Aaron in Havertown, PA, until retiring in 1992. Tiferet Bet Israel (formerly Norristown Jewish Community Center) in Blue Bell, PA was Eli’s second home for more than 60 years. He helped found the Men’s Club, served as Gabbai, member of the Ritual Committee and held various board positions. Elihu was a past vice president and Patient Services Chairman of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National He- mophilia Foundation. He played an integral role in the passage of the legislation estab- lishing the PA State Hemophilia Program, which was the first in the country and be- came a model for a national network of He- mophilia Treatment Centers across the United States. Born August 27, 1964 in Flemington, NJ, Carin was the daughter of the late Peggy Sue (Butler) and Walter C. Schaufele. She resided in Ambler with her beloved husband, Mark Style, mar- ried almost 20 years. Carin was the loving mother of Sophie and Eli Style and she is survived by her sisters, Brenda Schaufele and Colleen Schaufele. She was in programming at AT&T as well as programming and sales at Orre- fors Crystal Company. JOSEPH LEVINE and SONS WENZER Samuel Wenzer, age 95 of Wilmington, DE and Delray Beach, FL, died peacefully on Sat- urday, August 4, 2018 surrounded by his family. Sam was born December 24, 1922 in New Brunswick, NJ and raised in Highland Park, NJ. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the 3rd Army in the European Theatre. He graduated from Highland Park High School and Temple University. Sam was a lifelong employee for the railroad, starting with Pennsylvania Railroad, then Penn Central and retiring from Conrail. Sam was a volunteer for Jewish Family Services and other local or- ganizations in Wilmington, DE. He traveled the world with his wife, later with his grand- son. He also enjoyed the stock market, his- tory, gardening, collecting railroad memorab- ilia, talking with and visiting friends and above all else, his family. Always the athlete, Sam loved golf (playing into his 90s), tennis, basketball and baseball. He was thrilled to participate in the Phillies Dream Week during Spring Training when he was 72 years old. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Helen. He is survived by his two children, Kenneth Wenzer of Takoma Park, MD and Carrie Wenzer Littman of Wilmington, DE; two grandchildren Evan Littman and Jada Littman Eldrich (Samuel) who affectionately called him Sampa; and the rest of his adoring friends and family.
