and grandmother, died on October 17 2017
at her nursing home in Orlando, Fl after a
protracted battle with Alzheimers at the age
of 89. Born in Philadelphia PA, she was the
daughter of Max and Gertrude Psaki and sis-

ated from Overbrook high school and earned
her BS in education from Temple University

band, her 3 children, and grandchildren. She
was lovingly married to her husband, Allan M
Tabas, for 50 years. Her main passion in life
was her art- she loved painting and sculpture
and continued to work into her 80s. She was
a strong-minded woman and a loyal friend
with a great sense of humor and a loving
heart. She always had a smile and was truly
pleased to see friends and family and meet
new people. She enjoyed spending time with
her friends, including her 7 mile constitution-
al walks every morning. She was a voracious
reader and especially loved murder myster-
ies, frequently flipping to the end “just to see
who dunnit.” She loved growing plants and
vegetables and had an extraordinarily green
thumb. She is survived by her daughter Max-
ine, her sons Joel and Jeffrey, and her grand-
children Kenzo, Kai, Maya, Zoe, Zachary, Ted,

of her contagious smile and the paintings
that she so generously gave to those that she
cared about. Donations can be made in her
honor to the Jewish National Fund.
