SPLAVER WEISMAN
Mark A. Splaver, of Philadelphia, PA died at
his residence on November 4, 2019. He was
the husband of the late Natalie Splaver, fath-
er of Stacy Splaver, Eric (Jennifer) Splaver
and Ellen (Tom) Boehm, the grandfather of
Michelle (Jake) Haebe and Scott Splaver, and
the brother of Dee Splaver Smoke. He is also
survived by his life long friends Leonard Bez-
ar, Sandy Brossman and Norm Rothberg as
well as beloved nieces and nephews. Burial
w a s a t C r e s c e n t M e m o r i a l P a r k in
Pennsauken, NJ.

RAPHAEL-SACKS Milton "Mickey" Weisman, on November 19,
2019 at the age of 97 after a brief illness. Be-
loved husband of the late Marcy (nee Mei-
man), for 66 years; her death diminished his
life. Devoted father of Richard Weisman and
Linda (Mel) Swanson; grandfather of Mat-
thew Praissman. He lived in Glenside, PA,
where he and Marcy raised their children.

Milton served honorably during WWII in the
U.S. Air Corps. He was an ardent salt-water
fisherman his entire life. During his long re-
tirement, he volunteered first as an arbitrator
for the Phila. chapter of the Better Business
Bureau and then, for more than fifteen years,
until his death, at the Abington Memorial
Hospital. Contributions in his memory may
be made to the Delaware Valley chapter of the
Alzheimer's Association or to the Abington

Edith Wolfson (nee Feld), on October 27,

Mother of Michael (Gail) Tunick, Robert Tu-
nick and the late Steven Tunick. Grandmoth-
er of Daniel and Susan Tunick. Sister of
Sylvia (Mike) Silverman. Also remembered by
nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand-
nephews. Bernice was the Co-Owner of
Leather Furniture Shops in Old City with her

Edward Urofsky, age 72, died on October 26,
2019. He was a business owner who resided
in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Father of Ricki
(Phillip) Herman. Grandfather of Pacey and
Bailey. Brother of the late Jennifer Webb.

Also survived by his longtime companion,
Carolyn Goldman and former spouse, Anita

ber 8, 2019. Beloved husband of the late
Felyce (nee Diamond). Loving father of
Richard (Nancy) Wolfson, and Susan Wolf-
son. Adoring grandfather of Stephanie (Brett)

YENTIS Richard David Yentis, MD, of Fort Worth,
Texas passed on November 5, 2019. A native
of Philadelphia area, he attended Lower
Merion High School, University of
Pennsylvania and University of Pennsylvania
Medical School. He leaves behind his wife of
55 years, the former Edie Tomlinson of Fort
Worth, Texas, as well as their children Amiee
(Sonny) Fort Worth, Richard Yentis, Jr. (Iza-
bela Gheorghisor) of Vienna, VA. Also surviv-
ing 4 grandchildren of whom he and Edie had
guardianship custody for 14 years. Wesley,
Sam, Max, and Amanda, he was the devoted
son of Mary(zl)and Herbert Yentis(zl). His
sister, Jackie Yentis Goldstone (George) of
Merion. PA, survives. He served in the US
Public Health Service. He developed and
owned a private psychiatric facility and taught
his specialty at local Texas hospitals, while
maintaining a private practice for many years.

Richard was a classical pianist, collector of
fine original art and antique handmade car-
pets, sculpture and musical instruments. His
sense of humor was widely known as well as
his love of family, theater, and orchestra per-
formances. He and Edie traveled the world to
learn new techniques of psychiatry and loved
to visit unusual destinations. As a member of
the Temples in Fort Worth, Richard attended
classes on bible and Jewish traditions and
shared his new found knowledge willingly. He
always attended his Penn class reunions,
catching up with fraternity brothers, former
crew members and learning about innova-
tions in medicine. Contributions to remem-
