WEINSTEIN Edith Lowenthal Weinstein (Nee Gorewitz),
November 11, 2016. Beloved wife of the late
Raymond Weinstein and the late Leonard
Lowenthal. Mrs. Weinstein was a Past Pres-
ident of the now defunct Cong. Adath Sha-
lom, an active member of the Jewish Nation-
al Fund Auxillary and Bnai Brith Women. She
was also a member of the Jewish War Veter-
ans Auxillary. Devoted mother of Ava Atzram
and the late Lewis Weinstein (Debby). Lov-
ing grandmother of Michal "Micki" Atzram,
Kevin Heaton, Rachel Weinstein, and Saul
Weinstein. Loving great grandmother of Ad-
dikiss and Chase. Dear sister-in-law of Mary
Lowenthal. Dear aunt of Carol, Janet, Arlene,
David, and Nancy. Contributions in her
memory may be made to the Jewish National
Fund or the Jewish War Veterans.

(nee Shelman). Devoted father of Amy (Ellis)

(Paul) Horenstein and Courtney (Jon) Spaeth.
Proud grandfather of Maggie (Josh), David,
Jessica, Sydney, Jack, Eva, Grant, Erica and
Michael. Also survived by Walter B. The fam-

WOLK Elaine Wolk (Kahn), November 7, 2016. She
was loved by all; Elaine-wife, mother, grand-
mother, great grandmother and friend. Al-
ways putting her family first, Elaine's priority
was our happiness. Side by side in marriage
and business with her late beloved husband
Jerry, she founded and built a successful
company, nurtured our loving family and had
a beautiful marriage of 63 years. Elaine al-
ways found time for volunteering. Amongst
her many projects, her dedication to our syn-
agogue was steadfast. She was instrumental
in bringing holocaust awareness through the
Simon Wiesenthal Center to the forefront of
the greater Philadelphia area. Now and
forever, Elaine will be close at heart to her
children, grandchildren, great grandchildren,
friends and family. Mother of Judi (Dean)
Major and Linda (Jay) Levitt. Grandmother of
Ross Major, Justin (Stacey) Levitt and Cory
(Deborah) Levitt. Great grandmother of

Richard L. Zamsky, of Palm Beach, Florida
and Brigantine, N.J. passed away Monday
Morning October 24th, 2016 at the age of 82.
Son of Hyman and Lillian Zamsky. He is sur-
vived by his wife Louise (vonNieda) , daugh-
ter Barbara Zamsky, son Robert(Sharon)
Zamsky, grandchildren Laura Zamsky, Spen-
cer Dodge, Dylan Zamsky, Layne Dodge, and
Will Zamsky. He is also survived by his
brothers Stephen Zamsky and David Zamsky,
and his sister Brina Silverman.Richard grew
up in Lower Merion and graduated from
Lower Merion High School. He ran Zamsky
studios for 29 years and Cross Country Col-
or Corporation for 6 years. Richard enjoyed
sailing on his yacht the “Black Sheep”, and
had a passion for collecting and restoring an-
tique model sailboats. He was a fine wood-
worker and enjoyed making furniture and art
for his family. Richard was very knowledge-
able about antique French posters and was
an avid collector. He was a gourmet cook and
enjoyed entertaining. He was a member of
the professional photographers of America
organization and was a highly regarded lec-
turer for the photography industry. His quick
wit, brilliant mind, thirst for learning and ad-
venture, and sharing wisdom with others are
some of the legacies he leaves behind to
those who knew him. Services for Richard
Zamsky will be private.

of Phila., loving mother of Paul (Betsy) Za-
zow, Lori Konolige and Jamie Zazow; cher-
ished randmother of Morgan, Jake, Rebecca
and Sam. Relatives and friends were invited
to graveside services, Friday, October 28,
2016, 11:30 A.M. at Mt. Sharon Cem.,
