voted wife of Marc Meketon. Beloved mother
of Rachel (Daniel Kamen) Meketon and
Samuel Meketon. Dear sister of Deborah
(Joseph) Hohm and Daniel Sussman. Ser-
vices and interment were held at King David
Cemetery on May 29, 2018. A scholarship
fund for students of low vision and blind re-
habilitation is being set up in Naomi's name.

June 15, 2018; loving mother of Martin
(Theresa) Belsky, Adam Belsky and Linda
Belsky (Ronald) Resnikoff; devoted sister of
Leah Satter, Albert (Lori) Ostrich and the late
William Laird and Sherbyn Ostrich. Also sur-
vived by 15 grandchildren and 1 great grand-
child. A passionate community leader, Polly
raised landmark funds for juvenile diabetes
and was the youngest woman of her era to
lead a mission to Israel. She then became an
attorney, running a successful law practice
for over three decades. Family and friends
were invited to Graveside Services, Wednes-
day, 1:00 PM, Haym Salomon Memorial Park,
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory
can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Re-
search Foundation (JDRF.org).

URKOWITZ Dr. Harry “Hesh” Urkowitz on June 8, 2018.

Husband of the late Edith. Father of Alan G.

(Lois) Urkowitz and Sally (Arthur) Ettelman.

Grandfather of Michael Ettelman (fiancée Tar-
in Hart), Amanda Ettelman (Dmitry Kushnir),
Rachel Cotte and Hannah Urkowitz (Tyler
Cooney). Great-Grandfather of Eliana and
Hunter. Hesh served in the Eighth Air Force
during WWII. He earned a BS degree in Elec-
trical Engineering from Drexel University and
MS and PhD degrees from the University of
Pennsylvania. He had a long and distin-
guished career in the Aerospace Industry re-
searching radar and digital communications
and was known as a fine teacher and mentor.
