(Debra) Pearlstein and Bill (Donna) Pearstein.

(Danielle Nelson) Pearlstein and Beth (Brian

Michael Andrew Saperstein, 40, of Ewing
passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.
Throughout his career, Michael worked as a
marketing professional for companies such
as Miele, Brother International, Abbot Point
of Care and SpectraMedix. He was a proud
graduate of The College of New Jersey,
alumni board member, and served as a judge
for TCNJ School of Business Mayo Business
Plan Competition. Michael was passionate
about causes such as Stupid Cancer,
Livestrong Foundation, and The National
Brain Tumor Society. He was also an avid
traveler, lifelong bowler, and member of the
PBA. Michael is survived by his beloved
“Honey” and wife-to-be Jessica Leigh Foltz,
Philadelphia, PA; devoted parents, Linda Wolf
Saperstein and Harvey Saperstein, Ocean
Twp.; sister and brother-in-law Laura and
Erich Kaiser, Ocean Twp.; niece and nephew
Audrey and David; as well as several aunts,
uncles, and cousins. Services were held on

TRIESTER Stanton Lionel Triester, longtime resident of
Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away on June 26,
2018, surrounded by loving family and
friends, at the age of 90. He received his un-
dergraduate and law degree from the Uni-
versity of Pennsylvania where he was also an
editor of the Law Review. Stan practiced real
estate law with two Philadelphia law firms be-
fore starting his own company to pursue his
first love--real estate. Building upon his fath-
er’s real estate business, he gradually ac-
quired property nationally and was among
the original syndicators using tax advant-
aged limited partnership vehicles and con-
dominium conversions. He served as a Trust-
ee and Fundraising Committee Chair for the
Vesper Boat Club of Philadelphia. He is sur-
vived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sonia C.

and Karin E. Triester (O’Brien), her husband
David J. O’Brien and three grandchildren, Ju-
lia G. O’Brien, Spencer P. O’Brien and Reed

Thelma Udis (nee Waldman) on July 2, 2018.
Wife of the late Edward. Mother of Harlan
Udis. An artist and sculptor, Thelma re-
ceived a Bachelor’s Degree from Temple Uni-
versity in both teaching and the arts, a Mas-
ter’s Degree of Fine Arts from Moore College
of Arts, and a Doctorate of Religion from
Temple University. She worked as a fine lace
designer for Cable Covers for 20 years, and
volunteered for Dollars for Scholars for Ha-
dassah for 37 years, receiving a special
award for her work. Funeral Services were
held Monday at Montefiore Cemetery, Jenkin-

Bess Hoberman Walk, 107, passed away
peacefully at the home of her daughter and
son-in-law, Nancy and Bob Kauffman, on
June 24,2018. She was born on January 29,
1911, to Hinda and Mayer Milgram in Phil-
adelphia, PA. William Howard Taft was pres-
ident. She was an accomplished pianist and
organist. She accompanied the silent movies
in her father's motion picture theaters, Mil-
gram Theaters. In 1932, she married AI
Hoberman. She was married to AI for 49
years and later was married to Arthur Walk
for 17 years. The young couple moved to
West Chester in 1935. In 1948, she with her
husband opened a women's shop which they
ran until 1972. Many generations of brides
bought their wedding gowns at Hoberman's
and still remember the wonderful time in
choosing just the right gown for them. She
was also an avid golfer, achieving her first
hole-in-one when she was 86 years old. On
Tuesdays she played bridge and on
Thursdays she played Canasta and continued
to play canasta into her 107 th year. Bess was
an active member of Kesher Israel Congrega-
tion and Hadassah. For many years she was a
volunteer at the Chester County Hospital. She
had the most amazing positive approach to
life and living. She loved and was loved by
her five grandchildren and nine greatgrand-
children. She is survived by her son Dr.
Maury Hoberman (Joyce), her daughter
Nancy Kauffman (Bob), her grandchildren
Susan Kauffman, Robin Kauffman (Dr. Bruce
Saran) Ruth Ann Weiss (Dr. Barry Wasser-
