OLEVSKY Dr. Benjamin Olevsky, February 4, 2017, (92
yrs) of Philadelphia, Pa. Formerly of Califor-
nia and Florida. Husband of the late Cather-
ine "Kitty" (nee O'Leary). Uncle of Sherry
Edelstein Brooks, Barbara and David Meal-
maker, all of whom cared for "Uncle Benny"
for many years. Dear friend of Sidney Snyder.

Survived by many loving nieces, nephews
and friends. Predeceased by three brothers
(Jack, Frank & Mike Olevsky) and three sis-
ters (Lillian Meeks, Mollie Dash and Esther
Edelstein). Dr. Olevsky was a decorated WWII
veteran who had been honored with both
Bronze and Silver Stars for his meritorious
service for our country. Dr. Olevsky received
his Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate in Elec-
trical Engineering from The University of
Pennsylvania. He had a successful career at
Lockeed Martin, formerly Philco Ford, where
he patented his many inventions. Relatives
and friends were invited to Services Monday
February 6 at Joseph Levine & Sons (West)

SAVITZ Rhea Kroll (nee Feldman) died on January 25,
2017. Mrs. Kroll was the former owner, with
her late husband, of Kroll Hardware for 30
years, located in the Somerton section of
Philadelphia. After retirement, she enjoyed
spending time with the family. Wife of the
late Kenneth; mother of Andrew P. (Gail)
Kroll, Jodi (Dr. Thomas) Duffield, and Dr.

Irving Harold Schwartz of Boynton Beach,
formerly from Philadelphia, passed away on
January 31, 2017, at the age of 94, surroun-
ded by his loving family. Irving was the be-
loved husband for 71 years to Evelyn (nee
Schwartz); loving father of Dianne Rosenthal
and Dr. William Schwartz; devoted grandfath-
er of Cyna, Lindy and Austin; and brother of
the late Rose Hershman. Irving was a 1944
graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Opto-
metry, received his CPA in 1949, and was in
private practice until 1968, when he went in-
to business. He was a member of Congrega-
tion Beth Israel, Northfield, NJ; Melrose and
Indian Spring Country Clubs; and the Golden
Slipper Club. Irv was an active member of
Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County,
Ben Gurion University, and Israel Bonds. Fu-
neral services were held February 3, 2017, in
Boca Raton Florida. Internment Service was
on Sunday, February 12, at Roosevelt

Paul's Run and a frequent volunteer in the
community. She was a kind and caring per-
son with a strong devotion to her family.
