peacefully on January 23, 2020, in Boca
Raton, FL, with his devoted wife, Charlotte

PAUL Jack Donald Paul, age 89, of Lantana, FL,
formerly of Philadelphia, died on February 9,
2020. He was the beloved husband of Marcia
Paul (nee Tickner) for 63 years; devoted fath-
er of Barbara (Martin) Levin and Barry Paul;
proud grandfather of David Hulford, Joshua
Hulford, Dr. Shira Paul (Dr. Patrick
Englebert), and Moshe Paul; loving great-
grandfather to Isabella Paul, Camilla Paul,
and Levi Hulford; and dear brother to the late
Mildred (the late Manuel) Binik. He was the
loving son of the late Benjamin and Rose
Paul. Jack was a graduate of West Phil-
adelphia High School and Temple University,
where he earned a B.S. in accounting and a
master’s in education. He started his career
as an accountant but later found his life’s
calling as a teacher. He taught accounting
and economics at Kensington High School
for 30 years and part-time at Philadelphia
Community College for about 10 years. He
loved his students and maintained contact
with many of them over the years. He was a
67-year member of Hackenburg-Mt. Moriah
Lodge no. 19, F&AM. Contributions in Jack’s

Anita Schatz (Rosner) of Boynton Beach,
Florida and Margate, NJ, formerly of Dresher,
passed away peacefully on February 17. She
was the daughter of the late Sidney and Lil-
lian (Servetnick) Rosner of Philadelphia, the
devoted and cherished wife of 56 years to Dr.

Nathan Schatz, proud and loving mother of
Michael and Elyse, Gary, and Melanie(Schatz)
and Michael Wolfson, and adoring Ro-Ro of
grandchildren Leah, David, Jacob, Sydney
and William. She is also survived by her be-
loved sister, Karen (Vladimir) Svirsky and
many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anita
was a graduate of Temple University College
of Education. A dedicated volunteer and
homemaker, she was a decades-long leader
of Beth Sholom Congregation in Elkins Park
where she served as Sisterhood president,
chair of Education, and as an officer and
