Mollie Pollack (nee Siletsky), age 94, died on
March 29, 2017. She was a retired book-
keeper who resided in Delray Beach, Florida.

Wife of the late Abraham; mother of Sherry
Krosnick and Norman (Pam) Pollack; sister
of Esther (Richard) Sirinsky and Rae Butler;
grandmother of David, Amy (Mike), Scott,
and Doug; and great-grandmother of Jason,
Jessica, Justin, Bryce, Caleb, and Brooks.

Beatrice S. Raines, age 93, filled with light,
departed on Tuesday, December 19, 2017.

Born Beatrice Sirulnik to Harris and Sarah
Sirulnik; Bebe was blessed by devoted broth-
ers Frank (Francis) and Reuben (Lucille) and
by their incredible children, her nieces and
nephews Mark, Eric, Jane, Dee, Deborah, and
Susan. She and the love of her life, Dr. Her-
man R. Raines, met at 15, became high
school sweethearts, and went on to enjoy 67
years of marriage blessings and sons Jonath-
an, Andrew (Robert) and grandson Zachary.

Bebe was the last of her generation and is
survived by children, grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, and friends who will keep her lov-
ing memory and spirit alive. Contributions in

ROSENTHAL Carol L. Rosenthal (nee Lehrfeld) 87, of
Audubon, PA, formerly of Rydal, PA, on
December 10, 2017. Daughter of the late Dr.

Louis and Adele Lehrfeld. She is survived by
Alfred, her husband of 66 years; daughters
Ellen Rosenthal and Susan (Howard) Gallop;
and grandchildren Amy and David. An ac-
complished artist, Carol graduated from the
Tyler School of Fine Arts with a passion for
sculpting, oil painting and watercolor. She
formerly served on the Abington Memorial
Hospital Mental Health Advisory Board and
was a long-time volunteer on the AMH Tel-e-
Help crisis hotline. Carol was one of the
founders of the Young Adult Group, estab-
lished to provide socialization opportunities
for adults with intellectual disabilities. Funer-
al Services were Wednesday, Dec. 13th at

2017, age 99 of Philadelphia, passed away
peacefully at her home surrounded by her
family. Predeceased by her loving husband of
58 years John M. Taxin, owner of Old Origin-
al Bookbinder's Restaurant, and cherished
son Albert Taxin. She is survived by her
daughter Sandy Taxin, daughter-in-law Doris
Taxin, grandchildren John E. Taxin (Jayme),
Erica Taxin Bleznak, Eli Gross (Jennifer),
Sherri Weiss Poall (Steven), Erich Weiss, Di-
